Aliplast's new investment project – installation of Poland’s largest roof-mounted photovoltaic system
Aliplast has been pursuing a sustainable development policy for years with the aim of achieving environmental neutrality. As one of the largest manufacturers of aluminium systems and profiles, we strive to minimise the impact on the environment and climate. The company has started another project. Since the beginning of June, intensive work has been underway to install Poland’s largest roof-mounted photovoltaic system using the Corab membrane-bonded system. The company has been investing in solutions that reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
The first stage of the project involves the installation of 3 750 units of modules with a total capacity of 2.1 MW on four roofs of our manufacturing plant. The value of the investment project is estimated at 7.5 million. We want photovoltaic systems to be located on the roof surface of our manufacturing plant. And there is plenty of this surface at our disposal – says Tomasz Ćwiek, investment project director at Aliplast. We invest in energy efficiency and increase the use of renewable energy, following global trends. Energy transformation – we’ve just started it!
