EcoVadis is a globally trusted leader in auditing sustainability of businesses, assessing company activities and practices in the area of corporate social responsibility, including commitment to environmentally-oriented activities.
During a rating analysis, EcoVadis assesses corporate social responsibility in four key areas: the environment, labour law and human rights, ethics and sustainable supply chain.
In the future, EcoVadis-like certificates will become a significant element of contractor selection process; authentic and evidence-based actions in compliance with sustainability idea stand a chance of becoming a significant component of competitive advantage on the market.
EcoVadis is an independent rating company assessing supplier actions and practices in the area of corporate social responsibility. It was established in 2007 and assesses performance of businesses in the themes of: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Sustainable Procurement and Ethics. The evaluation is based on international sustainability standards, such as Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000.
