Final gala of the “Student of the Future” project with Aliplast

On 15 June, the Final gala of the “Student of the Future” project with Aliplast took place. The initiative was organised by the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and the Department of Education of the Lublin City Hall, with substantive support from the Lublin University of Technology. The primary goal of the project was to support the development of the technical skills of pupils from Lublin's primary schools and their teachers, using equipment purchased by the schools as part of the “Laboratories of the Future” programme, and also to familiarise the participants with the technological and economic potential of Lublin.

In May, we were visited by 8th grade pupils, from Primary School 33. The pupils learnt about the Aliplast Group's business profile and visited the manufacturing part of the plant, including the production of aluminium profiles, vertical and horizontal paint shops, anodising plant, CNC machining as well as roller blinds, facade blinds and pergolas production departments. Moreover, they were introduced to the latest production technologies of our plant. Special focus was the design process and the use of 3D printing technology for rapid prototyping.
